POWERUp 2026 is a wrap

— and it was something.

More than 1,300 IBM i professionals in New Orleans. Jazz Fest in the streets. IBM Bob announced at general availability. Steve Will saying plainly that IBM i will be fully agentic within the next couple of years. Hillery Hunter on the keynote stage. A pickleball court on the expo floor and dogs from a local shelter at Pups & Cups.

The energy in that building felt like 1988. The hype is back — and this time it’s earned.
